Video Tutorial for CocoPerez.com:
Supplies:
• Basic Sewing Kit (Scizzors, Needle, Thread)
* Note: Thread should match jeans or zipper color
*Please note this tip is specifically for fixing a broken zipper, where the slider has slipped off one side of the zipper teeth:

1.Make a small perpendicular cut (about 1/4”) into the zipper about 1/2” from the bottom of the zipper. This cut should be made on the side that does not have the slider.

2.Slip slider back onto the zipper, using the area you cut as the starting point.

3.Zip up the zipper all the way to the top.

4.Wip stitch the bottom of the zipper, right above where the zipper teeth are still apart. Wip stitch at least 10 times before tying up the thread and snipping the excess thread off.

5.Test out the zipper to ensure stitches keep sliders from sliding off. Tada! Go face the world with your new fly fly.
